OUR MEALS

Taste our delicious local specialties, for dinner or breakfast

BREAKFAST and DINNER

Whether you want to enjoy a romantic breakfast, or a dinner in the garden or the cozy lounge, we have you covered.

BREAKFAST

Choose what you want from the online buffet and we will have it ready for you in the Maisonnette before you arrive. Our home-made pastries, with real hand-rolled puff pastry, will be waiting for you to bake at your leasure. The buffet also features butter, homemade jams, my brother's honey, and even local cheese and ham, yogurt, milk, tea or orange juice (not from concentrate). The new coffee-maker's Capuccino alone justifies your swinging by!

BREAD and VIENNOISERIES

Our breads are either home-made, or come from the Clément bakery, a family and artisanal business just at the foot of the hill in Prez-vers-Siviriez.

JAMS and HONEY

Our honeys, sometimes lavender, acacia, spring or even forest, come from my brother's honey house in Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans, in the Drôme. Our artisanal jams, for their part, come from the Treasures of Sandrine, a craftswoman from Vuisternens-devant-Romont.

ON A SAVORY NOTE

Delight in simplicity: on the cheese menu, you will find Gruyère and Vacherin. After having tried all the dairies around, I chose, without hesitation, the exceptional products of the Bérard dairy, in Chavannes-les-Forts. The ham comes from the Jaquier butchery in Siviriez, the next village. It is worth the detour!

the CLASSICS

We also offer butter, eggs, regional and/or organic yogurts, tea, coffee, milk and chocolate powder, non-concentrated orange juice.

DINNER

On the dinner menu, you will find our heart-shaped steak tartare, cut with a knife, the traditional raclette and the charcuterie platter "Au Jambon d'Or", an artisanal caterer at the end of the street. The raclette comes with potatoes and all three meals are accompanied by a choice of green salad with my house sauce, bread or toast.

STEAK TARTARE

Our knife-cut steak tartare comes from the Jaquier butcher shop in Siviriez . It is accompanied by pickles and baby onions, and your choice of green salad and my house sauce, bread, toast, and butter.

RACLETTE

Depending on the season and availability, we compose the raclette with different cheeses... and sometimes include a surprise ;o) Served with potatoes to be cooked in the Maisonnette, pickles and baby onions, and a few slices of charcuterie, we can serve it with bread, a green salad with my house sauce, and butter.

COLD CUT ARDOISE

The charcuterie platter comes straight from the caterer "Au Jambon d'Or", located at the end of Chemin du Clos-du-Vernay, the very street of the Maisonnette. It consists of different pieces of meat, pickles and baby onions, and according to your tastes, a green salad with my house sauce, bread or toast, and butter.

DESSERT

Faithful to the rest of our offer, our desserts come from local artisans and are composed of regional products.

MERINGUES & DOUBLE CRÈME

A true Friborg tradition, double cream meringues have earned their place among the ranks of the most popular desserts. The double cream, or simply "the double" as we say around here, comes from the Bérard dairy-cheese factory in Chavannes-les-Forts. Louis keeps a manufacturing secret, without any addition whatsoever, to give his "double" this unique consistency. The meringues, no less exceptional, come from the Clément bakery, which we hold in high regard.

TARTE à la CRÈME

The Tarte à la Crème is made with love by the Clément bakery. It is deliciously creamy and sweet to perfection.

TOURTE aux FRUITS

Decorated on request, the fruit pie is handcrafted by the Clément bakery. Creamy and airy, it will crown your romantic dinner.
