At the Maisonnette

We put all our heart to make your stay at the Maisonnette Enchantée perfect. In particular, my team and I take great care in decorating, cleaning and preparing the place for your stay. This is how we conceive hospitality.

We hope we can count on you to…

  • Smoke exclusively outside (not at the window or French door), even electronic cigarettes which leave a potentially unpleasant odor for subsequent visitors.
  • Pay for your meals, extra services, snacks and drinks spontaneously.
    • Depending on the season, a bottle of sparkling wine, homemade syrups and/or a bottle of milk await you in the fridge, and biscuits on the coffee table in the living room. They are included in your stay and we hope you will enjoy them as much as we do 😊
    • Other food items (wines, groceries, etc.) must be paid for before your departure according to the booklet on the service trolley.
  • Not to spill anything into the jacuzzi (Champagne, soap, oil, bubble bath, etc.).
    • Just add ¼ scoop of blue chlorine (between bookshelf and French door) after each swim.
    • The client is liable for repair costs and any subsequent cancellations of stays.
  • Put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher (no need to start it).
  • Put your used towels and bathrobes in the bathtub.
  • Leave the Maisonnette no later than 11:00 a.m. We have very little wiggle room for cleaning, especially in this time of a pandemic.
  • Cleaning is included in your stay (scrubbing, bedding, lingerie, jacuzzi, windows). Nevertheless, we kindly ask you to leave the house in the state in which you found it. We reserve the right to charge for cleaning costs in the event of excessive soiling or negligence.
  • Incidents happen…and it’s much nicer for the Guests and the Host to deal with those little annoyances in person. Please report spontaneously before your departure any damage you may have caused during your stay.

La Maisonnette Enchantée is designed to accommodate a couple of adults (2 people). It is not intended for children, pets or parties; they are prohibited in the Maisonette. Any additional person is charged CHF 50.-, is under the Customer’s responsibility and no bedding is provided for more than one couple.

Unfortunately, as a result of prior damage, we must charge a minimum of CHF 100.- and up to the full cost of damage incurred in the event of non-compliance with these rules. We also reserve the right to charge any canceled nights resulting from the unavailability of the Maisonette due to negligence or malicious intent of the Customer’s.

General

Definitions

Customer and Client designate the person who books a stay.

Host designates the Maisonnette Enchantée, represented by the undersigned.

Housing designates the property intended for the accommodation of the Customer, and extends to the outbuildings and all the equipment made available to the Customer.

Check-in time designates the time from which the Customer can access and enjoy the accommodation.

Check-out time designates the time at which the Customer must vacate the accommodation at the latest.

Effective departure time designates the time at which the Client and all their guests leave the accommodation definitively and with all their belongings.

Stay designates the period during which the Customer reserves the accommodation. It starts at check-in time and ends at the actual check-out time.

Reservation platform designates the means by which the Customer made his reservation. If it was made via direct communication with the Host (telephone, short message, etc.), said platform is considered to be the Host’s website.

Scope

These conditions govern the relationship between the client and the Host.

Reservations and cancellations

By making a reservation, the Customer accepts these conditions without reservation and agrees to pay the price of the stay. The said general conditions extend, under the responsibility of the Customer, to any person who stays at the Maisonnette Enchantée during all or part of the stay, with or without the Customer, regardless of the latter’s consent.

The Host accepts cancellations free of charge up to 7 calendar days before the stay. Up to 48 hours before the stay, cancellations give rise to a 50% refund of the value of the stay. From 48 hours before check-in onwards, the full price of the stay is due.

Benefits

The Host makes the reserved accommodation available to the client during their stay. The Customer have exclusive use of the entire accommodation and its facilities. Snacks can be included with the stay. Where applicable, they are described or listed by the Host on the booking platform or a paper medium inside the accommodation.

The accommodation is made available to the client for the number of people specified in the description of said accommodation. The Customer agree to respect this number. Only with the Host’s written permission, additional guests can access the accommodation, which gives rise to the payment of a fee.

Communication

Any communication about the stay can be done in person, by email, short message (SMS, Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp), social media or via the communication channel of the booking platform. The written form prevails. Cancellations of stay or services must be done via email or short message on Signal, Telegram or WhatsApp only. Cancellations requested via other means are only considered valid if confirmed by the Host.

Verbrauch und Dienstleistungen

The Customer spontaneously pay for their consumption and any additional services according to the tariffs, agreed to or on display, and with the means described in the accommodation or agreed upon. Administrative costs of a minimum of CHF 30.- are applied for any non-payment or late payment.

Smoking

Smoking is tolerated outside the building only. Smoking inside the Maisonette, on the doorstep or at the window, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited. In the event of non-observance of these rules or in the event of smells of smoke consequent to the stay, the Customer is liable for CHF 300.- for maintenance costs.

In addition, the Customer is responsible for all damages resulting from tobacco consumption, including the payment of canceled stays resulting from smoking, and bad reviews left by Customers in this respect. See liability.

Whirlpool

The client use the jacuzzi diligently. They only add the chlorine intended to ensure the cleanliness of the water according to the dosage specified on the installation. The cost of repairing the equipment and any cancellations of stays are the responsibility of the client. See liability.

Return of the place after the stay

The Customer wash their dishes or leave them, even dirty, in the dishwasher. They leave the towels and bathrobes made available to them in the bathtub.

The Customer vacate the premises no later than the departure time. Fees of at least CHF 100.- $ and up to the price of the following stay are are charged in the event of late departure, if the delay makes it impossible to complete the cleaning before the arrival time of the next client.

Cleaning is included in the stay (scrubbing, bedding, lingerie, jacuzzi, windows). Nevertheless, the client are responsible for returning the accommodation in a clean state. The Host reserves the right to charge for cleaning costs in the event of excessive soiling or negligence.

Liability

The client are responsible for any damage caused to the Host, whether intentionally or through negligence. This damage includes material damage (for example and not exclusively broken glass, damaged furniture or parts of the accommodation) and immaterial (for example and not exclusively cancellation of stays consequent to damage, damage to the reputation, excessive cleaning costs). Any evaluation below the maximum score of the platform concerned and whose comment mentions damage caused under the responsibility of the Customer gives rise to the payment of CHF 100.- as compensation for immaterial damage.

The client announce any damage to the Host spontaneously and before departure. Failing this, the client acknowledges owing the Host a minimum of CHF 100.- as administrative costs.

In case of non-compliance with these rules, the client is liable for a minimum of CHF 100.- and up to the full cost of damage incurred. Damage extends to canceled nights resulting from the unavailability of the Maisonette due to negligence or malicious intent of the Customer’s.
